The day didn't start out as early as planned because we had to wait for things to dry just a little but the sun decided to shine what a nice day!! We all had our jobs and the kids even helped. Haden kept the calves out of the branding area and Libby kept track of how many bull calves
there were. Ryan loved being outside and was helping by waving his bottle in the air and yelling on occasion. Josh's job was to keep the calves coming and he did a great job. There was not many calves but we were all there to have a good time and get some work done. Of course I had to make sure that those boys new that a girl can do anything they can do and was doing an ok job until this one calf got an attitude. I wont go into
details but I ended up with a pretty good bruise on my face.(it was worse then it looks in this picture) "I got some pretty funny looks at church the next day." There was also a pretty good save done by Tyler! A calf got in were the kids were and so he went to save the day, the calf tried to jump through him and Tyler caught him mid air. AWESOME TYLER! You are our hero!!!!! And after all the work was done we got to enjoy some wonderful food! Thanks Jeanie for the great food and Norman thank you for letting us come out and enjoy the day with you.
